Appalachia Trip Details

World Vision U.S. Programs invites Women of Vision (WOV) partners and other women concerned with child well-being for a tranformational jounrey to rural north-central West Virginia.

• Talk with families and community partners about life in this community
• Participate in two WOV events (a coat distribution and Girls Camp reunion)
• Visit the KidREACH program
• Tour the community and World Vision Applachia warehouse
• Discover how Women of Vision brings hope to Appalachian families
• Learn about World Vision’s work in West Virginia

Trip cost: $300 (double occupancy) $400 (single occupancy)
Includes:

• 3 nights accommodations at the Mountaineer Inn
• All meals starting with dinner on October 15
• World Vision and Women of Vision hosting

NOTE: Participants are responsible for airfare and transportation to/from Philippi, West Virginia.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

All participants should be 12 years old or older.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
